PRICES & TAXES Rates are subject to change, this does not effect a reservation already made.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE Check-in begins at 3:00pm and and check-out is required by 10:00am. Any exceptions to these times must be arranged in advance.
PAYMENT Payment must be made in full prior to checking in. All payments are in euros.
CANCELLATION POLICY We kindly ask for cancellations to be made at least 14 days prior to check-in. As a small business, this policy allows us the opportunity to re-rent the room and maintain our high level of service for all guests. We understand that cancellations may sometimes be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances and we try to be sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases. If you cancel your reservation within 14days of scheduled arrival date, you will be liable for the full reservation price. Guests that do not arrive as schedules and fail to provide prior notification, may be liable for the full cost of the reservation. DAMAGES You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly. We do not normally charge for breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant. Please do not apply or use fake tan or sun creams in our bedrooms and bathrooms. Any linens, towels and soft furnishings stained with fake tan or suncreams will be charged for. If professional cleaning is required to remove stains caused by fake tan and sun cream products products you will be expected to pay the bill. Please wash off sun cream before bed at night to avoid damage to linens and soft furnishings. Any staining that cannot be removed will be charged for.
MISSING ITEMS We reserve the right to charge for items missing from our rooms.
HEALTH & SAFETY We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for illegal activities, vandalism, and abusive behaviour. Such actions will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Illegal activities, including the use of illegal drugs and excessive alcohol consumption, will be promptly reported to the police. Rude and abusive guests will be required to leave the chateau immediately. Please note that you are responsible for the behaviour of your guests at all times. Chateau Forest is a private residence and our home. We kindly ask all guests to have respectfully and treat our house, grounds and neighbours with the utmost consideration.
Entering fields containing livestock is strictly prohibited at all times, as it poses a danger to both you and the animals.
Lighting fires and using Chinese lanterns are strictly prohibited, as they can startle the livestock and pose a risk of igniting dry areas of land.
POOL Our pool is here for your use and to enhance your stay, however – it is your responsibility to ensure your own safety and that of your children. No diving is permitted as the pool is 1.4mdeep. Chateau Forest is not liable for the safety or wellbeing of anyone who chooses to swim in the pool.
PETS We are unable to accommodate pets, so please do not bring your pets with you. Please note that we have a dog, but he is not permitted in guest rooms
SMOKING Smoking is NOT permitted within any part of Château Forest and the grounds.. Please note that offending guests may be asked to leave immediately and may be liable for professional cleaning of any rooms and any outstanding balance of nights booked but not taken through early departure.
LIABILITY Chateau Forest and employees are not liable for any injury, damage or loss of any nature, however caused and/or suffered by you or your party whether before, during or after your stay.
